LAST BUTCHERS IN THE SAN TELMO MARKET
At 122 years old, the Mercado San Telmo had many changes, and the passage of time has transformed it into more than a neighborhood market. One of its last transitions has resulted in a gastronomic pole for the enjoyment of the tourist. Gone are the traditional meat, chicken, fish or vegetable stalls. Daniel Santiago and the brothers Ángel and José Luis Arribas experienced all these changes. They are the last butchers of Mercado San Telmo and are part of the living history of one of the most important markets in the city of Buenos Aires.
